Q: Pentax AF160SA flash? on K-1.

Rare maybe.

Anyone knows if i can use this less than $20 flash on my K-1?

Wondering

If nothing else it will work as an auto-flash using the built-in sensor to cut off the flash light when the exposure is correct (rather than the camera controlling it).

The data we have are here.

If you buy it please let us know if it can set the aperture of the lens in P mode like it could on older film cameras.

Just received it. Fast test. Works. TAv. Sv. Will try to test later as requested. :-)

Safe to use on your digital camera. Less than 5 VDC when charged.

Works in auto mode and senses the ISO set in camera to choose correct aperture. ISO100 = f/4. So put the camera in P or Tv and the camera chooses the correct f-stop. If in Av you will have to choose correct aperture.
