Hotshoe Triggered HSS Flash Options for 645z?

I have a 645z. I don't need wireless triggering, I just want a flash that I can put on the hotshoe and trigger above 1/125 of a second. I want to shoot handheld but still pop the flash and avoid mirror slap or hand shake blur. I just want to get to around 1/500 or 1/1000.

What are my options for this? It's hard to tell, since many of the speedlights seem to work as slaves only with P-TTL. I'll keep a running tally here as people give me advice/corrections. I used this guide but it seems to have slipped out of date.

Thanks in advance for any help, suggestions, additions, or corrections you can give.

YES, can be used above 1/125 on the hotshoe

MAYBE? Please help me confirm if these will trigger above 1/125 on the hotshoe

Cactus V6 triggers with many TTL flash brands and passthrough mode? IE If I stacked all this on top of the camera.

NO, cannot be used on camera hotshoe above 1/125 (but still may be used wirelessly for P-TTL)

Read this table of Pentax flash options:
Pentax hotshoe flash options | Recommended old flashes for P? | Flickr

There is one column for HSS in there. If it says "yes" you can use that flash up to any shutter speeds the camera provides.

You'd need the V6II, not the V6. However, the only advantage of involving a V6II would be to use HSS-capable flashes from other systems, such as Canon, Nikon, etc.

Since you are not after taking the flash off-camera, you can use any P-TTL HSS flash on the 645D directly (including those from Metz or other third-party manufacturers) without involving a trigger.
