I want to get into using off-camera flash, and some soft boxes etc, with my K-70.
Looking at getting these for my first setup. Seemed to have great feedback.

Amazon.com : Yongnuo 2pcs YN560 IV Flash kit +YN560TX LCD Wireless Flash Controller For Nikon : Camera & Photo
Have 4 earlier versions, YN560 IIIs plus the YN560 TX and a pair of RF603 N II Triggers. Use for headshots, outdoor portraits, occasional commercial, things that don't need bigger lights.

Just got everything together in my kit yesterday night.
Setup in my living room, and did a first time test shoot with a couple different techniques.
I'm loving the 2 speedlights, and umbrella softboxes so far.
Definitely a good choice. Now I can take my portraits to the next level!

Umbrella box on each side, and black reflector in the back

Side umbrella box, front 45degree key umbrella box, and black reflector in back

Silver reflector left side, High-key off white wall with bare speedlight, and front right key umbrella box.

Nice!

Side-lighting can be a very good technique but for more natural results you may want to try to move the light sources higher up.
