It is there (aliexpress) but more expensive.
I have got a used AF-360FGZ at a very low price from eBay but I do not like the results.
It looks to me underexposed.
I get better results with a manual NEEWER TT560.
P-TTL should work with bounce flash?
This a new item so there will not be any user reviews?
TIA

I guess aliexpress needs exact search terms...

Now that Yongnuo is making knockoff Canikon lenses maybe we'll get knockoff K-mount lenses...

The body sends attenuation instructions based on the pre-flash. If you are getting underexposure with the AF-360 FGZ, the same is likely to be true with the Yongnuo, assuming that the issue was not simply inadequate power. You can test by using your AF-360 FGZ in auto flash (A) mode using the sensor on the flash in conjunction with the test button. That will allow you to determine if the flash is too weak for the room/distance where it is being used.

As for bounce...yes, P-TTL does work, though only within the limits of the flash's power.

In regards to the YN585EX, I would suggest carefully comparing the feature set with that of your AF-360 FGZ. Most P-TTL flash in that price range do not support HSS, legacy TTL, contrast control, or master/controller features. I.e. They do not have a feature set comparable to your AF-360 FGZ.

I see no mention of HSS support, I know the Canikon versions of this flash have it but it is not mentioned anywhere that this one is HSS compatible.
The Shanny P-TTL flash supports HSS but it's 50% more expensive.
If anyone has info about this particular issue, I'll be glad to know.

I bought one, but I'm not really knowledgeable enough about flashes to write a review. The results are good for occasional shots of my dogs or family reunions indoors (I don't use much flash). One thing, though, is boggling me: there is no AF assist light coming on from the unit. The manual clearly says it has it, but it's not working in my unit - and yes, that's while shooting in AF-S and with AF assist ON. Neither the camera, nor the flash head will fire the AF assist beam. Maybe I received a bad apple, maybe there's some catch I'm not aware of.

PS - Searched all over the web and found nothing except the "single frame mode / AF assist on" reccomendations, which usually do the trick. Not in my case, though.

I bought one last week. The P-TTL function appears to work and the focus assist light works when stuck in a corner with low light. (I tested it)
I have three YN560-III flashes and a YN560-TX controller, the YN585EX does not communicate with the Yongnuo wireless controllers.

I have not used the flash outside of my very limited test, I bought it to help with a shoot scheduled in July. I tested the flash using my K-3II, 16-50mm and 50-135.

Is it also happening to anyone that when the flash uses AF assist at low-light conditions not only the red assist lamp is on, but also the actual flash is blinking? I find this quite distracting at some situations. I have seen this for the first time in the category of external flashes. Any suggestion how to resolve this?
(Interesting thing - when I turn off AF assist in the Advanced menu, the main flash remains blinking when focusing (AF red lamp is turned off).)
