Progress on my AF080C ring flash with the broken foot.

I see these flashes are fairly rare, none for sale.

The foot is held onto the body with 2 screws into a metal plate
I have measured up the broken foot with a view to try
to make a replacement on the lathe.
One possibility is to make the foot out of Acetal (black plastic of high density).
However first try I will attempt to make one as a shell out of solid aluminum,
then fill it with epoxy and drill the holes for the pins.

If anyone knows of a dead AF080C with a good foot, I would be happy to hear about it.
thanks

woobat2go, just dropped in the mailbox. You should receive it 3 or 4 days.

The replacement foot arrived today- thanks again to Dentax.
The old AF080C flash is now working again.
I set it up on the Bellows-M with the 50mm reversed:

This is the first time I have used the AF080C on the 50mm lens.
Here is a photo.

The problem is, the lettering on that transistor is actually white, so I am puzzled.

Well I am glad you got the AF080C flash working, but I don't know why the color shift. Maybe exposure?
