AF 540 FGZ and fill flash

I have bought online and yet to recieve my AF 540, I downloaded the manual from the homesite and cannot seem to find any reference to exposure compensation settings.

Can any of you wedding photographers let me know what settings on the flash unit you use for daylight fill flash?

In my Nikon film days the setting was around -1.3

Or with the K20 or digitals is this not a requirement?

Any help and or tips on this much appreciated

Neil

I generally set my flash to -1 to -1.5. Depends on the intensity of the ambient light and where it is coming from.
