Shanny apparently are fine. Metz without a doubt are the best there is.

Bought a Shanny last week from Amazon to replace my Sigma EF-500DGst. I hardly use a flash I'm more a tripod man, so the Shanny is price wise fine for me.
But, yes, I prefer the Shanny over a second hand( Me be as new) Metz. Had one some years ago a send it back.

Shanny only supports a subset of P-ttl so you get no Wireless P-ttl

you cannot control the flashes firing and exposure off Camera using P-ttl signals.
you cannot control another flash using this using this unit

i.e no Master/Controller or slave mode for TTL

decent cheap flash for on camera use but creatively limiting.

That's a huge information to me !
So this Shanny cannot be used to work in P-TTL off Camera.
On the other end, the Yongnuo yn585 supports P-TTL off Camera, but lacks HSSpeed.
Is that correct ?
Thanks.
