Yet another ringflash thread

Hi, everybody.
Online again after very busy summer :-)
I have very weird idee fix regarding macro ring flash. For my film gear I have AF140C TTL ring. Works awesome on film bodies and rather OK as manual/auto on dSLR. As I am an electronics engineer myself I decided to spend some dull autumn evenings and some $$ on the following project:
1. Purchase a cheap Pentax AF 200 FG (P-TTL);
2. Disassemble it and add 2 components: a switch to disable internal tube and a socket to connect AF140C emitter (or just a socket with AF140C autodetection- decision after disassembly)
3. Hope that it all is worth it (in terms of experimenting it certainly is :-) )
4. Maybe someone can find a catch for me which prevents me to start this project.

but due to very busy times at the end of the year it is slightly delayed :-( And I changed the project base to AF360FGZ for greater versatility- AF200 was too simplistic in terms of adjustments :-) If successfully (or even not) finished I will certainly report.
