K-1, Cactus V6 ii, and Cactus RF60X--- no TTL even after firmware upgrade?

I turn on the flash then the camera and finally the V6ii in TX mode, then when I try to enable TTL it says incompatible system. I upgraded both flash and V6ii. Any help would be appreciated.
PS: Would it help if I had my 28-105mm pentax lens on rather than 85mm manual?
Thanks

Do you have the V6ii on the camera and the RF60X off the camera?

Yes, or should I mount it on V6ii?

Have you set the V6ii to Pentax?

Have you set it to Pentax and have you used the correct firmware update?

What 85mm lens? Does it have an "A" setting on the aperture ring ?

P-TTL only works with lenses where the aperture is controlled by the body. If the top LCD says "F---", P-TTL will not work.

Steve
Camera can change the aperture, no problem there. I always leave the camera on manual mode.

I always mount the V6II on the camera (turned off) Turn on camera & half press the shutter button and then turn on V6II.
Cactus is always offering new firmware but you don't always use the most current release!!! Make sure its the most current release for P-TTL
on your V6II & RF60X

We really need to see you write down here exactly what firmware is installed on both the V6II and RF60x ....all numbers and letters exactly. Also please detail the exact menu items on both devices for camera and flash system with you exact settings. Finally in the V6II function menu confirm the sync mode is "normal HSS".

How exactly are you trying to set TTL?

RF60X- A07
V6ii- PEN A 001 camera pentax, flash pentax, sync mode normal HSS, TTL passthrough on
K1- The flash symbol is on when turning on but as soon as I go into liveview it turns off. Sometimes it does stay on but to no avail.
Perhaps I should video all this on my mobile to show exactly what is going on?
Thanks Nigel
