Best beginner flash - k200d macro

I've got a k200d and would like to know what my best, most inexpensive options for a flash to help with shooting macro photography. I'm look at at an AF 360 FGZ. Would that suite my needs? What are my main considerations? Is a Pentax stobe the way to go or are there other good options. Thanks

Pentax just introduced a dedicated ring flash for macro photography. You might look into that.

Cool. I just saw that after I posted this. Someone suggested it was going to list at $499. That's more than I want to spend right now on a macro ring

What about the Starblitz 1000? I see some good shots on here using it and haven't seen terrible reviews.

Is that AF360 the best starter flash for me, assuming that I might want to use it off camera and for purposes other than macro?

I'm sure $499 won't be street price, I would imagine it will be $350 - $370
