The one I bought NIB never worked right
Had to take batteries out to turn off. It finally died.

I got a chance to buy cheap
used but in box ( really new).

I followed directions in manual.

I can’t set the flash coverage mm or the
moving from manual to auto mode.

Also on the k-1 menu what do I set that to?

Also what do I set the flash to?
Not green I think.

I would like to have an automatic flash.

maybe the reason it was cheap is that it is broken. Make sure the wide angle panel is not out. Zoom will not work with the panel out.

You dont have to set anything on the K1. You can Change the white balance if you desire, and you can use the flash compensation controls. Set the camera to manual or Av and set the Flash to P-TTL. Start from there.

It was still wrapped in the box. It is on PTTL 35mm.

I will try your advice later this evening.
