Pentax Flash Distributor 37330

thought I knew about most Pentax products...anyone have any experience with it?

It dates back to the LX days (early 1980's) and would have been used with the AF400T TTL flash. The distributor has 4P sync sockets.

There doesn't seem to be a 5P version of this, but in effect the double-sided shoe F to 5P cables can be stacked to parallel the signals. (Not something to do with digital data flash configurations but useful for controlling multiple 500FTZ flashes from analog TTL cameras such as the 645N.)

I found this diagram of the flash distributor in a 1986 Pentax accessories booklet.

This setup would work with the LX or Super A/Program that supported TTL flash at that time and the AF400T which has the 4P sync socket. (Or any Pentax TTL flash if you used the HotShoe grip)
