Samsung-branded flashes

Samsung has rebadged versions of some of the current Pentax flash lineup: SEF-54PZF, SEF-36PZF.

Are these known to be exactly interchangeable with the Pentax-branded models? I assume so but want to double-check.

It looks like Samsung has used a Minolta/Sony compatible hotshoe instead of the standard in some of their older cameras (not a bad choice really, since it's clearly superior). And in the pages linked to above, Samsung says P-TTL in the text but A-TTL (again, Minolta/Sony) in the graphic above.

However, my Metz flash says Pentax/Samsung (well, "Pen/Sam"), so presumably the connection and protocols are actually Pentax-style.

And the next question is: are these marketed in the US at all? I can't find 'em at B&H, Adorama, or Amazon.
