Is there an ATG Brand?

Several times in YouTube comments and elsewhere I have seen people refer to an ATG brand of flash units. I've never previously heard of them, perhaps they are a factory that makes flash units sold under more familiar names. But doing an on-line search only brought up the link below, which claims that an ATG company does not exist, and that the name was invented by an internet troll as some kind of elaborate joke, which others have joined in promoting. Can anyone enlighten me?

I did Google for it, and it led to the page that I linked

But I have tried again with some different search terms and found this :-

I Googled the term "ATG Canon EOS-1D C" and got forum posts and blog comments from the troll (an1, angelone, myway15, etc.) with ATG appended onto several other well-known products. If it is a feature or a technology, it must be pretty obscure. I came up empty.

FWIW...this bit about the rabid fan of a non-existent product is sort of fascinating. The person truly is everywhere.
