sigma EF-530 D flash users: quick questions

Hey, does this flash (either super or regular model) have a mode where you can use the AF assist light

The manual is pretty lightweight.

Oh, and also: is the stroboscopic (multiple flashes in one exposure) mode available on the ST model, or just the Super?

Do you mean using *only* the AF-assist beam ? If so, not officially but putting the flash in the "ISO" mode apparently does this (i.e. the AF assist will work and the flash will not fire).

Hi,
The Super does have an AF assist lamp but there is not way to turn it off, if it's what you want to do.
Sorry, I don't know about the stroboscopic effect on the ST.
Cheers!
