AF540FGZ II - Saving Settings After Shutdown

Hi friends,
I have a question about the flash of Pentax AF540FGZ II. The current setting is not saved after turning off. After switch off and turning on, the flash is set to mode: P-TTL, Synchro: 1 Shutter, Correction: 0, Zoom: Auto. Only setting functions under the "Fn" button is stored in memory.
Is it a normal state?

The Flash Metz 52 AF-1, Shanny SN600FGZ, Cactus RF60X and old Yongnuo YN460-II always remembers the last settings even after shutdown.
Thank you for response.

It's a terrible feature, or lack of one, I think.

Is there a way to disable the flash without turning it off, if you are shooting with and without it?

I used the flash in P-TTL 99% of the time. I don't have to worry about the flash being in the wrong mode every time I mount it and switch it on. So for me it is not a terrible feature.
