Now that metzflash.ca is also dead, PF is the last resort. I know about Softedia but they don't have the Pentax version for 44 AF-1

I think I have it. It originally came as a self-unzipping executable file called: MB58_MB50_MB48_MB44_Pentax_GB_Win.exe
It unzips to a folder called "Firmware-Updater Software Pentax MB58 MB50 MB48 MB44" which contains the update utility and the firmware files. One being titled MB44AF1_PentaxV20.mtz

Send me a PM with your email and I'll send you a zip file. Note that I may not be able to respond before tomorrow evening (EST).

Hi:

I just purchased a Metz 44-AF-1 from B&H during a flash sale. I have two Metz 58s and they are 10 years old and still work extremely well. I have not checked the firmware version that came with the 44. Are there any new features or bug fixes?

There's some K-1 incompatibility, so hoping for fixes.
