I was wrong about DG 500 super and K10 wireless flash

I got the sigma DG 500 super back from sigma do to exposure problems (which is fixed) but the 500 super doesn't sync up with the K10D built in flash.... thought it did, but soon discovered that the 500 super flashes with the P-TTL "pre-flash".

No setting on the camera to kill the pre-flash - one of the shooting modes perhaps? Or setting on the flash unit to ignore the pre-flash?

If not, that's too bad - however good for me since I just ordered the lower priced ST model because I thought the camera's internal flash would not work with the higher end unit, but then read about a fireware update that allowed that with the Pentax units (and therefore perhaps the higher priced Sigma unit). If that turns out not to be the case, I'm satisfied again with my purchase of the lower priced unit.
