It's mis-leading, as they don't support P-TTL (the camera make in the ads is arbitrary) so they have to be used in either AUTO (which provides little illumination or macro) or full power. They are fun to use (I own the Chinese Starblitz version, though they're the same) and you basically have to drop the f-stop until the photo's aren't blown-out anymore I wouldn't really recommend them. That said, it is a powerful flash, so if you can cope with it using full power all the time, it could be handy.

i don't really like them because the images are too flat. no depth.. you can put blk tape on one side to get higher f-stops and some depth..

Why do you need black tape? One side can be turned off and the output can be controlled. Even my previous generation ttl macrolume can do that as well as my EM3 for my old canon system. In fact, the previous generation macrolume had diffusers as well.

The sigma EM-140 can work in wireless, p-ttl or ttl.

The bottom line is that with the new Pentax, Sigma, Metz and Promaster, either side can be turned off and the output adjusted as well.

Edit: Perhaps you were talking about the one in the ebay link instead of the past 2 or 3 posts.

Most of these macro ringlights they sell at ebay are mostly not flash per se but actual lights that you turn off and turn on.
They are mostly white super bright LED's which are now commonly used for LED flashlights (handheld used to show you a path in the dark and not used for camera flash).
The usual flash ringlights are much much more expensive than these (..ones that can be mounted on the dslr's hot shoe).

here's the other p-ttl option from Germany. A couple of members on this board have them. FS999 is one of them.

Is this the only site where you can get them?
Converted the Euro and it amounts to $360 USD.

Custom grips can be a whole other can of worms.

There was a vendor on ebay at one time. This is one of the downsides to this brand. However, I'd would have gone with it instead of the Sigma had I known about it at the time. The cool thing about this rig is it can be used as a regular flash! Here is the ebay link but they aren't currently selling.

Looks like it's another one made by Icorp/Tumax (like the Dörr DAF-42, Sakar / Digital Concepts 952AF/PEN, and Vivitar DF400MZ.)

TUMAX Digital Macro Flash Series - DMR

They also make the Xotopro twin (well, triple) flash macro system.
