Camera abuse? Flash abuse? Or just plain stupid?

Technically yes, but it's so poorly constructed that focusing gives about 7-8mm of difference.

Fixed lens? That's a prime lens. :-)

BTW, Jared, you need to update your sig line to include this camera.

I wouldn't mind having a Holga, but I'm going to have to learn how to develop my own (b/w) negatives at home first. Sending out to a lab is just prohibitively expensive.

Over the last few days I've been having fun with a 1956 Ricoh "35 Deluxe" I won off of Yahoo Japan Auctions for about 50 bucks. It's a 35mm rangefinder with a fast-wind "trigger" on the bottom of the camera. No metering whatsoever, so I went and spent four times the cost of the camera on a Sekonics L-208 light meter that will affix to the flash shoe. Definitely have to learn how to do my own processing for the 35mm, which is the only conceivable way I'm going to be able to afford this new expansion of my shutterbug addiction.

Something I'd like to see is a digital Pentax Auto 110. Someone gave me one as a gift years ago and it was fun to play with - in spite of the fact that prints from the 110 film were absolutely horrible.
