Flash trigger

I have a Vivitar 3500 Flash that im using with my k10d and i want to buy the




Cactus Wireless Flash Trigger Set V4



Will this set up work?

I don't need too use those cables right? just mount the flash on the reciever and it should work right?

I use a Viv285HV with cactus V2s triggers and that setup works fine, I'll be upgrading to the V4 soon. With the Viv 3500 just make sure the voltage is under 6 if you want to use it on camera...someone correct me if I'm wrong on that voltage but off camera it should work fine.

okay, thank you! i will be purchasing the cactus now! I actually bought the flash off of a user on this forum, and it works fine with the camera! I can't wait to get the trigger!

Not sure but try an ebay search. Buying through GI is really easy and they are trustworthy. I've bought items from them twice and service and shipping is great.

i asked the same question when i wanted to start using my flash as wireless, no other cables needed

i got the CTR-301P triggers ($25 shipped) which are working flawlessly, using with my pentax ftz 500 and the ebay YN-460 flash ($40 shipped). so happy i finally jumped into the crazy world of wireless flash photography. on camera flash is so lame when i look back on it

GI also has an ebay site so you might stumble on this and might think it's another store.
