Interfit flash meter?

Hi,

I want to start playing around w/ 2 flashes in the house. I understand using a flash meter will get you to the correct aperture quicker than doing a bunch of test shots. Since I will probably be trying (and I mean trying) to take some shots of a 2 year old who doesn't ever sit still, doing a lot of tests isn't really an option.

I have a K20, Metz 58, Vivitar 285HV & a single umbrella setup. I am using sync cords to fire the flashes in manual mode at this point. Has anyone used these cheap Interfit flash meters:

Interfit | Flash Meter | INT410 | B&H Photo Video

I know it won't give me ratios between ambient & flash or flash & flash but for $56 is it worth it to help me along? I don't want to lay out $250 for a Sekonic L-358 untill I have a better handle on all of this.

Any advice is surely appreciated!

Thanks!

George
