WARNING: AF-540FGZ and second flash.
Hi everyone,
Just a word of warning for any one mixing older high trigger voltage flashs and the Pentax AF-540FGZ. DO NOT CONNECT THEM TO THE SAME RADIO TRIGGER.
I had the pentax AF-540FGZ on the wireless trigger and a second generic brand flash(very high trigger voltage) connected via the second pc connection in the side of the wireless trigger.
Connecting the flashes together has created a fault in the 540 that will now no longer fire.
It appears that pentax cameras may have some tolerance for raised trigger voltages. The flashes do not.
Be careful guys.
