I need help picking a flash

A prototype flash came out in Hong Kong ....YN-460 II Flash Speedlight ..it looks like a good deal for the $50 rage......i just need to find a good deal on a speedlight because i need one for a photography gig soon.....please help out...even if this flash is no good any sugestions will help

The Tumax rebranded ones are affordable and dedicated too rather than those YN something you've seen.

Hmm.. Thanks everybody. I'm using k-x and was looking for cheap and small flash.

I'm reading review right now. I'm really excited!!

I had the YN-460 (1st gen) and it broke after 2 weeks. It just stopped working.

Make sure you get one with warranty.

As for its performance, it works great. The problem actually is its durability/reliability.

make sure to not use it in full power, as recycle time is darn slow, and it will drain your batteries quick. use about half power, just raise the camera's ISO. Use Enerloop batteries, or Energizer Ultimate Lithiums if you dont like rechargeables.

YN-460 body I think is copied from a Canon 430EX. They can even share diffuser caps.

RolloR.....hav u tried the yn460-II...i just decided to pay the extra 15 dollars because the recycle time was amazingly faster and it was soo much more powerful...big upgrade from the first generation......my biggest concern is that it stops working like yours thogh
