Fix AF360?

Hello - I recently snapped my 360 off of the camera and was wondering if anybody new how to fix it. Is this a pentax support thing? Or can I solder the wires back where they belong and super glue it back together? =).

Thoughts?

I sold mine some time ago and can't remember if the bottom plate is removable. If I remember correctly, it has 4 screws on the bottom and the shoe comes right off. If that's correct, then order a replacement part from service and you can easily replace the shoe with a new one. I did the same with a 540 last year. Took 5 minutes. See it here: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/camera-studio-accessories/44476-fixing-pe...-hot-shoe.html

Last month I bought the base assembly for the AF360 from uscamera.com for $42, was very easy to replace (need fine phillips screwdriver blade; and be careful the wires aren't routed on top of the spring for the locking lever pin).

I also bought parts from Pentax USA (you can contact them from their web page), cost less money but more work. Or, you can send the flash into Pentax for repair (Quick and efficient).

Once you get the part, it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes, even for first-timer.
