You probably have a good reason to why you want to control the 360 with the 160 but I don't really see it.
If you can set the 160 to a manual mode, skipping the P-TTL entirely, you can set the 360 as a normal optical slave. This is done by holding down the light button for a few seconds and setting it on a different mode than it is already on (1 or 2). This will enable the 360 to flash when there is another flash going off that it can see.
This will not trigger the P-TTL function and you will have to set the flash strength manually.
