Sigma EF-530 DG ST compatibility issue with K-x?

Hi all,

I've paired K-x with Sigma EF-530 DF ST flash and I experience issues as follows.

The following pictures are taken with DA 16-45mm Manual mode @f/4.0 and 1/125s, with flash fired directly at the subject:

At 16mm:

At 45mm:

At 16mm:

At 45mm:

So exposure is correct at 16mm but constantly underexpose at 45mm.

Any clue what's going on with the flash and K-x? Is the flash incompatible with K-x?
