Challenge #138: Perspective: From The Ground Up

Wide angle shots looking up at tall buildings are a very common perspective, from the ground up shots. Your challenge is to find a unique perspecitve looking up.

Challenge Starts: NOW

Challenge Ends: Sunday, June 27th @ 7 PM server time.

The fine print....
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread, and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera will do or a Samsung DSLR.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.

I tend to the natural in my subject matter, so here is a look up at the sky through the bare arms of some aspen trees last November.

Taken with a 1957 Asahi Pentax, Takumar 35mm f/4 preset, Fuji Reala 100. This is a classic New England Congregational Church located on the green in New Milford, Connecticut.

From what I understand, this part of the area (in some way absorbed in to Detroit) was once nearly completely Hungarian. There may still be a few left but for the most part, this area is now pretty much ghetto-fied.

A few more churches (though that is my submission unless the OP wants to choose one of these) in the area within a couple blocks.

Of course to any train chaser, the area is best known for

Sorry Jeff but this isn't a multiple choice test. You can change your entry at any time (Please IM if you do) but I'm not going to choose from multiple images. What do you think this is, the PPG?

I don't think any of the photos I posted stand a chance against the other entries so I'll stick with the original one (never intended to change it). Sorry about the tangent.

No need to be sorry. I think it was a fun exchange and it worked very well as a bump.
