Ok I am an Avid hunter fisherman and outdoors men so Lets see your Animal and fish pics for this week take a trip to the zoo the mountains what ever lets just see the wildlife rp

The photos don't have to have any theme or subject, but should capture {wildlife }

The rules:
1. Post ONE photo (max 800x800) as a response to THIS post.
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme. It can be colour or B&W, your choice.
3. You can offer as much or as little additional information as you wish, but I'd be interested to know the location/event/whatever being depicted.
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and chose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. The challenge runs for 6 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any camera will do but it must be a Pentax. Just use any camera you want. No discriminating anyone as long as the is an active member here

The competition is open from midnight today (Wednesday) August 29th until midnight Wednesday, September 5th. I will judge on {sep 6th } and post results during that day.

I'm going through my 1000s of RAW images from Tanzania in date order, and have only gotten to day1 of Safari now... 9 more to go! I may have to jump a few days ahead to when I both had finally learned how to use my camera & lens plus had fantastic subjects, and post 1 here...

funny altho Im no wildlife shooter, I actually found that I had several entry candidates and had a hard time choosing what to enter. It was down to a turtle, a bird, or some birds feet.

oh well it doesnt really matter does it. So Ill go with the wild and crazy turtle since I expect there will be several bird shots from others anyway

This was a tough one. I had several Zoo pictures I thought about posting, but in the spirit of "Wild" in the Wildlife catagory. Here are some wild Mountain Goats crossing the highway without much regrad for traffic haha. Taken just outside of Golden, BC, Canada on Trans Canada #1 These guys are serious climbers (and not too bad at jumping either) - I was going to crop the vehicle out - but I think it adds to the picture.
