Weekly Challenge #145 - Emotion
Posted By: casil403, 09-01-2010, 08:58 AM

Emotion:

This week I think I will go with the theme of emotion. Capture a mood, feeling or an emotion. It can be anger, sadness, loneliness, desperation, happiness fear etc. etc.
I'm looking for you all to convey a "definite mood or feeling" in your photography, not necessarily involving a person's expression.
Use your imagination, your camera, your favorite lens, your computer and PP software, good luck and have fun.

This challenge will end Saturday September 11 at midnight EST.
I look so forward to seeing what you come up with!
The fine print....
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread, and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera will do or a Samsung DSLR.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.

However I was anything but serene getting this shot. I kept waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for the ~!@#$%^& fish to swim into the frame! He'd mosey along the top, swim down the left side, mosey over the the bottom, then back to the left. Arrrgh.

NaCl(but FINALLY he swam into the viewfinder)H2O

Went down to the beach to watch the sun come up the other morning, I was soaking up the the sun and looking for answers. I looked down and saw this poor little guy !! It reminded me that life could be worse and some times sh...t happens. There was a hole in the shell and some how he managed to get himself stuck inside of it. Life never stops amazing me! So remeber to enjoy every momment of every day for it could be your last.

There is always a sense of joy in accomplishing your goals. This is a shot of my daughter at her college graduation in May.

Mickey I really am enjoying your interpretations of the theme.
However, I can only judge one as per the rules posted. Can you let me know which one you would like to submit officially?
Keep 'em coming for inspirations still if you like though.
I am sorry. I did not read the rules. I will in the future.

Please use STEALTH.

This is a BEAUTIFUL photo, and your patience was rewarded. Serenity is just the feeling it evokes.
