Thanks so much for submitting some really wonderful shots everyone. I have to say this one was a hard one to judge. It's nice to win these challenges, but for me the judging is the bittersweet part because I have to choose a winner from so many fantastic shots and it is always so hard.
Believe me, you did not make it any easier this week with your interpretations of the theme.

So after much consideration, humming, and hawing here are my choices:

Honourable mention
ll_coffee_lP for "timid".....I really like this image. The expression of the girl to the right emotes shy or timid and the whole image emotes a really nifty friendship that the two young girls have...very nicely done:


3rd Place:
"Stealth" by mickeyobe
I chose this image because when I saw it there were 2 ideas of stealth here. The idea of hiding behind the tree gives the idea of stealth and the trunk of the tree actually looks like it is creeping up on something in a sneaky and stealthy way. A great eye for seeing and capturing this mickey.


2nd Place:
"Exciting/Shock" by Jimbow007
This one just wowed me when I saw it. The look on the boy's face is just priceless! I think he is so surprised by how much air he got in the jump or whatever it is it tells a neat story alone by the emotion on his face and I love that.


1st place:
"Protection" by atupdate
An image that spoke to me immediately when I saw it. I can see the feeling in the Mother's face of protection and the feeling of safety and security by the infant...just fantastic! Really, a touching and wonderful moment caught here and I love it.


So congrats and thanks to all for some really great images and interpretations of the theme.

Wow I didn't expect to win this challenge, as my best "emotion" picture won a previous challenge [Expressions] and I didn't want to reuse it.
