The fine print....
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread, and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera will do or a Samsung DSLR.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.

Re-creation of the Battle of Monmouth this past June. Those $%&#@ redcoats had the upper hand on day 1 of the battle.

Every year (except maybe this year due to buget cuts) the NY Botanical Garden holds a Japanese Chrysanthemum (Kiku) show in the fall. In addition to the flowers there are all sorts of Japanese cultural exhibitions, folk dancing, samisen concerts, origami shows, japanese drumming, etc. Two years ago they had a Samuai sword fighting demonstration. It was a lot of fun, with both male and female participants. These two women put on a great show.

YES you're not the only prog man in these parts... They were my favorite band back when I was going to see Yes and Genesis. Had 7th row seats to see them in NY theater and they broke up before the tour-the best line-up in my opinion with Wetton and Bruford.
