C'mon boys and girls. Get those cameras out and show what you've been looking at or better still what you want us to see.


This edition covers photos taken between September 19th and October 3rd, 2010, or shots from last week you haven't processed until now.

POTW is a great place to show what you're shooting day-to-day with your cameras. It gives us all a chance to see what other members are up to with their Pentax cameras in their parts of the world in which they live or have visited. We can share ideas and hopefully learn from one another which is great too!

So show us what you've seen in your little corner of the planet! Looking forward to seeing all of what's out there this week.

Again same rules as before:

1) No theme, just post your favorite pix.

2) Let's keep it to under 6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week.

3) Any Pentax camera or Samsung SLR is fine, whether it's film, P&S, or DSLR.

4) Date: Sunday September 19th to Sunday October 3rd 2010. Enter anything you shot last week or during this current week until the thread closes.

5) The current host will appoint the new host as an invitation via PM. If possible, the new thread will be linked to the previous one and the new thread will start between Noon EDT and 5PM EDT on Sunday. If the thread doesn't start, please contact Peter Zack, Moderator via PM.

Nice work -- I remember these views so well! I guess you took the ferry between the two cities. Helsinki a place of incredible music and much drinking. Tallinn a place of beautiful women and much drinking. Smoked fish in the former; pig's knuckles in the latter. Two different cultures but both shaped (for better or worse) by the Soviet Union.

Doughnut share operation in progress?

I think half the department was there that day. Perhaps the other half was on donut retrieval duty. Don't know. All I know for certain is the car without the flasher bar on top (basically unmarked) was in a big huge hurry to get there. Either he didn't want to miss the last donut or didn't want to miss the chance to abuse a citizen. I think he missed both. The two photos I show, are as exciting as the action got that day. Thought I might have a Cops moment in my lens but they just sat there, and then left after the woman came out.
