P52-3-16 Colour: colourful
Posted By: Rense, 11-12-2010, 08:37 AM

I must have had an moment of insanity when I decided the theme of the 16th week
of this P52-3 had to be Colourful. How on earth is is possible to judge such
a broad theme??? Well, in this second week of colour I want to see
explosions of colours in your photos! Abstracts, real life settings, whatever you
want, but rainbows of colours are obligatory. .

I don't think I have to explain the colour, or what you can do with it, do I? So,
let's go out shooting!!!

Just some backgrounds and some ideas:
Well....this isn't necessary, is it?

Time Frame: pictures for week 16 are to be taken and posted between
20101113 and 20101121, so from November 13th - November 21st, 2010.

Rules:
1. Anyone and everyone who is interested in eligible. The goal continues to be
have fun and share comments, concepts, insights, and techniques with fellow
Pentaxians.
2. Each week will feature a Theme and Sub-concept for you to explore.
3. Post your single picture in Project 52-3 thread for the week. Explain what
motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly
theme.
4. Some post-processing is OK (adjusting white balance, exposure, color
saturation), but let's try to stay away from heavily PP'ed images here. Try to
keep the creativity to photographic techniques and the captures themselves.
5. Since this project is about technique, and not camera, shots taken by nonPentax
cameras are allowed
. Cameras can be SLRs, DSLRs, Point & Shoot and Medium Format.
6. There is one “Theme Concept” labeled “black and white,” but feel free to post
black and white, sepia, monotone, etc.
, for any of the other themes.
7. The picture you post should be taken during the week in which the theme is
active
to be eligible for judging.
8. Any picture taken from 20100731 to listed closing date is acceptable for the two
“Seasonal” competitions – Projects 52-3-51 & 52.

Additional Information, including the scheme with subjects: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/mini-challenges-games-photo-stories/10506...-year-3-a.html

Have fun shooting!

Wow for everyone on this one. It lends itself to a great subject but still has a lot of room for imagination. I'm really loving what I see from the group with this challenge! Keep em coming!!

Argh! Oh, dear- I'll have to have a plan in place for judging this one! Great efforts one and all- this aint gonna be no cake walk! (Now, wouldn't that make a colorful shot- although I doubt cake walks are done that much anymore.. )

I planned something else, but since I lent out my tripod, I had to follow plan B....

EDIT: placed other version, because of the typo and the dust...

A shot for my 1 Year of Pixar project, combined with the Sin lens, so I'll add it to my SIN album as well.

The toys finally find their twin brothers, but their pleas for help in escaping fall on deaf ears as their twins just mock them by mimicking their every move.

. My mother found the same toy (the one on the left) for my newborn nephew. Fun playing Mary Had a Little Lamb with the feet

Indeed!! (For everyone else, each foot is a high-pitched horn with a different pitch.)

This amusement park is all about fairy tales.
The website tells the following:

This flying temple of Thai design, slowly revolves while it is up in the air.
The temple extends up to 45 metres above the ground and has a diameter of 16 metres.
