Ok folks, thanks for all the comments on my contrast image, I guess it's my turn to pick...

The theme for week 30 is: Pets

Dogs, cats, snakes, ferrets, horses, whatever you consider a pet in your family!


The rules:
1. Post ONE photo (max 800x800) as a response to THIS post.
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme. It can be colour or B&W, your choice.
3. You can offer as much or as little additional information as you wish, but I'd be interested to know the location/event/whatever being depicted.
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and chose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. The challenge runs for 6 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any camera will do but it must be a Pentax. (added by Jonas for Challenge #23: Just use any camera you want. I'm not discriminating anyone as long as the is an active member here)

The competition is open from midnight (Monday) September 24th until midnight Saturday September 29th. I will judge on Sunday the 30th and post results during that day.

Pee Wee Magee, perrenial runner-up to the world's Ugliest Dog Comptetiton (and my parent's neighbor's pet). I think I caught his good side (at least you can barely make out his dislocated jaw and his tongue which doesn't fit in his head! Nice mohawk, too!)

If anyone has a Rabbit then they know how hard it is to capture a good picture of them. Here is my rabbit Paco, he acts more like a dog rather than a rabbit. But this is the best shot I could get from him tonight. I think he knew I was trying something and was being camera shy. Hope you enjoy.

As you can probably tell my wife was munching on some food and the look of please feed - 12 years old and he has the look perfected - does not matter what it is either - we could be eating ants and he would want at least a 'sniff'
