POTW #143 December 5-December 19
Posted By: bbluesman, 12-12-2010, 08:39 AM

Welcome to the 143rd edition of the Pentax Forum's Picture of the Week!

Thanks to Jeff for hosting last week and for asking me this week.

This edition covers photos taken between December 5-December 19, 2010, or shots from last week you haven't processed until now.

A special welcome to all new members: Join us old hands and post your shots from this week and last week!

Most important note to everyone: Remember, you can post your shots from this week AND last week!

POTW is a great place to show what you're shooting day-to-day with your cameras. It gives us all a chance to see what other members are up to with their Pentax cameras in their parts of the world in which they live or have visited. We can share ideas and hopefully learn from one another which is great too!

So show us what you've seen in your little corner of the planet! Looking forward to seeing all of what's out there this week.

Again same rules as before:

1) No theme, just post your favorite pix.

2) Lets keep it to fewer than 6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week.

3) Any Pentax camera or Samsung SLR is fine, whether it's film, P&S, or DSLR.

4) Date: Sunday December 5-December 19 2010. Enter anything you shot last week or during this current week until the thread closes.

5) The current host will appoint the new host as an invitation via Private Message (PM). If possible, the new thread will be linked to the previous one and the new thread will start between Noon EDT and 5PM EDT on Sunday. If the thread doesn't start, please contact Peter Zack, Moderator via PM.

Previous hosts: Each one is a hotlink to that POTW thread to look back at the previous POTW's.

Thanks for hosting Mark seems you have captured a rather unwilling subject

Joe - ahh The snowy prairie desert - a sight all to familiar here ('cept the dirfitwood nicely spottted and captured).

Peter - a nice walk about in the Fog , like the wind chimes and of course the beer sign.

jax_zee - looks live you found Gulliver's table !

Dave - those look good the duck and robin picture really pop.

Andras - ahh frozen water and boats - nioce shots. The gull is pretty good as well.

Richard - 240k that's nothing ! Love the pink limo.

JeffS - the dog looks like he is having fun despite the weather.

Mark - classic ! A side of beef eating a side of beef !

jackassap - haha in my younger years that could have my tire

Something a little different from me this time.

fotaki - Thanks, and no, I don't think any of those still exist. I think Ballantine is the only one I didn't at least try at one time or another. Schlitz was the very first beer I ever drank, Jax was popular when I was younger, everyone tried it, many drank Jax all the time. If I'm not mistaken that's because it was brewed in Louisiana.

Jax zee - I should have known.. and thanks.

Daacon - Thanks, glad you like the beer sign...but my real name's not Peter, it's Billy. Paleo Pete is just an internet moniker. Pete will do fine, or Peter if you prefer although it may take me a minute to realize you're referring to me...

Dave Kitson - Love the Mallards, excellent shot.

Thanks for the slice of life from NOLA Pete.
You're welcome Mark.

Dave, those smoke shots look good.

Thanks for hosting, Mark. Good to see you've got time for it now

Great shots here already, I really like the first boat shot from planedriver.

Dave, I love that sort of organic abstract. These images are just crying out for some extreme PP!
