Weekly Challenge #158 - Photography Cliches

From Wikipedia
"A cliché or cliche (pronounced UK: /ˈkliːʃeɪ/, US: /klɪˈʃeɪ/) is an expression, idea, or element of an artistic work which has been overused to the point of losing its original meaning or effect, rendering it a stereotype, especially when at some earlier time it was considered meaningful or novel."

Some photography cliche examples might be, train tracks, your shadow, mirror portrait, illuminated mountain peaks, babies, homeless people, sunsets/sunrises, empty bench, insect on a flower, reflections, close up of red lips with a strawberry etc. etc. etc.

Looking forward to seeing your examples of photographic cliches.
RU

Challenge ends on Thursday, February 3 at midnight!

The fine print....
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread, and explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme (especially if it's not obvious).
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera will do or a Samsung DSLR.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.

Susan, I thought so too. It made me laugh...hard. One of the things I like best about it is that it has purple fringing, one of the things I was trying to avoid by putting up my hand there in the first place.

What about the classic glass/bottle with bokeh shot? Now that I think about it, probably 95% of my shots are cliches

Hidiously cliche'd Christmas tree light "Bokeh"

Not only is the photo so terribly cliche'd that I'm embarrassed to admit I took it but the term "Bokeh" itself is..... well....... You know what I mean

Looks almost like a greeting card! Cheesy? Maybe, but nice shot nonetheless.
