Sorry for the delay !!

I'm a big fan of coastal/seascape photography so thought this would make a great challenge. I'm looking forward to some great entries & to get things started here's one of my own efforts. Due to my delay the competition will end on Tuesday 16th October & I'll post the results on the 17th October




The rules:
1. Post ONE photo (max 800x800) as a response to THIS post.
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme. It can be colour or B&W, your choice.
3. You can offer as much or as little additional information as you wish, but I'd be interested to know the location/event/whatever being depicted.
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and chose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. The challenge runs for 6 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any camera will do but it must be a Pentax. (added by Jonas for Challenge #23: Just use any camera you want. I'm not discriminating anyone as long as the is an active member here)

Well from my recent trip to Newfoundland. One of the front coves in Port aux Basques (the opposite side of the island from Twillingate. awesome shot BTW). Taken at sunset with FA 20mm @ f4, 1/6, ISO200



Hard to choose one shot from that trip and this is going to be a tough challenge to judge. Great shots everyone. Keep them coming.

Cascade Head on the Oregon Coast

Well I haven't been on a coast for to long a time but I was out yesterday morning on a little hike around Lake Coeur d'Alene and what did I see? A sailboat anchored up in a small bay. This probably isn't eligible but it's all I got! :-)



Oh, by the way. I'm sure glad I don't have to judge this week, awesome pictures!!! Kinda nice to sit back, relax and enjoy:-).

I am with you Eagle Rapids I haven't been to the coast for years.. so I dont have any pictures for this week.. But it has been enjoyable watching all the posts ... There are some really good ones this week..

I took this one overlooking Navagio Shipwreck Cove) on the island of Zakynthos in August of 2007. I was using a point and shot (Canon SD800is) because I dont hike or take my Pentax into the rugged when I am swimming. The photo is untouched, unaltered and simply uploaded from the SD card.
