Pic of the Week 24th April thru 7th May
Posted By: emetcalf, 04-30-2011, 02:40 PM

Welcome to the 163rd edition of the Pentax Forum's Picture of the Week. Thanks to Kyle (SpecialK) for hosting last week!

This edition covers photos taken between 24th April through 7th May. That lets you show off any shots you took last week but haven't processed until now. In other words, you can post your shots from this week AND last week.

POTW is a great place to show what you've been shooting day-to-day. It gives us all a chance to see what other members are up to with their Pentax (and Samsung) cameras in the parts of the world in which they live or have visited. We can share ideas, learn from one another, and have a good time.

So show us what you've seen in your little corner of the planet! Looking forward to seeing all of what's out there this week. A special welcome to all new members!

Again same rules as always:

1) No theme, just post your favorite pix.

2) Lets keep it to fewer than 6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week.

3) Any Pentax camera or Samsung SLR is fine, whether it's film, P&S, or DSLR.

4) Enter anything you shot last week or during this current week until the thread closes.

5) The current host will appoint the new host as an invitation via Private Message (PM). If possible, the new thread will be linked to the previous one and the new thread will start between Noon EDT and 5PM EDT on Sunday. If the thread doesn't start, please contact Peter Zack, Moderator via PM.

Previous hosts: Each one is a hotlink to that POTW thread to look back at the previous POTW's.

Shouldn't the dates be 24 April through 7 May? This thread usually looks one week back to allow participation of film shooters as well as shots that may have been taken towards the end of the week, but have not been downloaded and PP'ed.

The mods can help if you want to change the thread title.

Wow! I was out shooting flowers today, but did not even SEE anything that nice, much less have a chance to point a camera at it. (We are having a very cold/wet delayed Spring here. Snow level was at 800' a few days ago.)

Thanks for hosting Eda.
Here is a couple I got from the yard yesterday. I had friends show up from Elma, Washington, they come see me ever year during their spring visitation run.

You just need to feed him and he'll stay long enough for a photograph.

Good idea, I have had a feeder before but the squirrels kept knocking it down till they broke it. They even went in the garage and ate holes the the bags of bird feed. Lots of squirrels.
Just have to try again to catch that big one.
