Welcome to edition #204 of the Pentax Forums' Picture of the Week. Special thanks to RollsUp for hosting the previous week and inviting me to host the 204rd edition of this series.

This edition covers photos from 26 February - 11 March 2012. That lets you show off any shots you took last week but haven't processed until now. In other words, you can post your shots from this week AND last week.

POTW is a great place to show what you've been shooting day-to-day. It gives us all a chance to see what other members are up to with their Pentax (and Samsung) cameras in the parts of the world in which they live or have visited. We can share ideas, learn from one another, and have a good time.

So show us what you've seen in your little corner of the planet! Looking forward to seeing all of what's out there this week. A special welcome to all new members!

Again same rules as always:

1) No theme, just post your favorite pix.

2) Lets keep it to fewer than 6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week.

3) Any Pentax camera or Samsung SLR is fine, whether it's film, P&S, or DSLR.

4) Enter anything you shot last week or during this current week until the thread closes.

5) The current host will appoint the new host as an invitation via Private Message (PM). If possible, the new thread will be linked to the previous one and the new thread will start between Noon EDT and 5PM EDT on Sunday. If the thread doesn't start, please contact bluestringer, Moderator via PM.

Good Afternoon, good evening, good morning, Pentaxians the world over. Welcome to this editions of POTW, and here's hoping we will have another bumper edition to this POTW. Thanks RollsUp for hosting last weeks POTW, what a lovely lot of images there.
Thanks CIF, I see you are off the mark already with some great images. Is that a funeral shot? If so you are a very brave man. I could never take photos at a funeral, bu then again, I am a pastor, and I take the funeral itself, and not the photos: Is that a swamp of sorts. Can't figure out if it is a lake with a wave. Looks positively like Loch Ness monster doing a tail swirl.
I got my K200D back on Friday, and regrettably the service agent put off my SR, which I only discovered yesterday. These images are all hand held, so not as sharp as I would like. Goes to show-check, check and check again.
Here a couple from Johannesburg- this is a well known landmark, one of two towers dotting the skyline. Taken

Having a toddler to look after means I'm struggling to find time in the day to go out with my trusty Pentax, so more night shots from me :ugh:.

Love the colour you got on those engines. I had to look up the Piedmont and Northern Railway - those look like really well-kept engines for a line with only 13 miles of track. How are they making money? Anyway, great photo.
