POTW #208 25 March through 7 April 2012
Posted By: ramseybuckeye, 03-31-2012, 08:37 PM

Welcome to edition #208 of the Pentax Forums' Picture of the Week. Thanks to cif for an excellent job of hosting edition #207.

This edition covers photos from 25 March - 07 April 2012. That lets you show off any shots you took last week but haven't processed until now. In other words, you can post your shots from this week AND last week.

POTW is a great place to show what you've been shooting day-to-day. It gives us all a chance to see what other members are up to with their Pentax (and Samsung) cameras in the parts of the world in which they live or have visited. We can share ideas, learn from one another, and have a good time. So show us what you've seen in your little corner of the planet! Looking forward to seeing all of what's out there this week. A special welcome to all new members!

Again same rules as always:
  1. No theme, just post your favorite pix.
  2. Lets keep it to fewer than 6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week.
  3. Any Pentax camera or Samsung SLR is fine, whether it's Film, P&S, Mirrorless, or DSLR.
  4. Enter anything you shot last week or during this current week until the thread closes.
  5. The current host will appoint the new host as an invitation via Private Message (PM). If possible, the new thread will be linked to the previous one and the new thread will start between Noon EDT and 5PM EDT on Sunday. If the thread doesn't start, please contact Peter Zack, Moderator via PM.

So cool to see this thread going strong. I have not participated in this for a long time, so let's end that sabatical On April 4th there was no snow , warm weather and thoughts and dreams of spring. Then from about midnight on the April 5th to about noon this happened. It's still around today , but the sun is pretty strong and it should all be gone (again) in a few days.

We had considered putting the patio furniture out haha silly people

One last shovel of the driveway - wet 'heart attack' snow - it was the toughest shovel of this winter for sure

Our dog is getting no IS very old and we had to shovel a path for him to get out and do his 'bidness

Dave, keep thinking that it's melting! I just had to mow the yard this morning again, see, now it's not so bad! We did have frost this morning. Seriously, I hope you get a turn in the weather pretty quickly!

I tried to take advantage of the full moon last night. This probably the best one I got.

cif, It must be nice to have such a pretty and willing model. I like tho old building too, black and white is right for this one.

Gerbermiester, nice series, great use of lighting in #1 & #2. I like your composition with the gull. I'm impressed that you have such a variety, and they are all interesting.
