Weekly Challenge #4 Winner

Well, you made this challenge difficult to judge. My apologies if I made it too difficult a task. These were very nice photos and in my estimation, you all did a great job of capturing "peace".

Here is how I judged this competition:
First place goes to Artyste for the girls sleeping

Second goes to JC Sullivan for the peaceful snow scene

Honorable Mention goes to Duh Vinci for the dense morning fog photo.

Hi Eric!
Great shot, but I have to say that such a picture would be completely unnatural in my family! Either they'd be trying to rip the toy out of each other's hands, or one would be in a corner sulking because they were told the other had to have a turn.
That's the way things normally go here as well. Never a dull moment. That's why this shot holds such a place in my heart. Funny thing is, it's the young one who is the bully--she thinks (knows) she can get away with murder while the older one just sighs and says "oi vey". We try to keep it in perspective, but some times it's easier to just let her have her way and compensate the boy in some other way.

Congrats to all. It was a tuff category to run with but all three have a great perspective.

Good Shooting
Cheers: David

Tough choice, but I probably would have chosen the same sequence.
Congratulations extended to you.

Congrads to all. I love morning fog the best. So mysterious and quiet. Great shot

It must be a huge responsibility to have to judge something like this. I would have chosen the same one as the winner but not sure I deserve second - but thanks.

I absolutely "love" the fog scene.

Artyste - true difinition of peace, absolutely beautifully captured!!!

JC - kept looking at the photo over and over again, somehow has a 1800's times feel to it, great photo!

Regards,
D

JC, it is a big responsibility and it feels so completely subjective . . . . .

It's also a good challenge and a lot of fun!
