PROJECT 52 - 4

Following are the Rules and Weekly Projects for year 4.
Thanks goes to Dan (DanLoc78) for getting this going, and to Rob (Mithrandir) for hosting year 3.

Rules :
1. Anyone and everyone who is interested is eligible. The goal continues to be
to have fun and share comments, concepts, insights, and techniques with fellow
Pentaxians.
2. Each week will feature a Theme and Sub-concept for you to explore.
3. Post your single picture in Project 52-4 thread for the week. Explain what
motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly
theme.
4. Some post-processing is OK (adjusting white balance, exposure, color
saturation), but let's try to stay away from heavily PP'ed images here. Try to
keep the creativity to photographic techniques and the captures themselves.
5. There is one “Theme Concept” labeled “black and white,” but feel free to post
black and white, sepia, monotone, etc., for any of the other themes.
6. The picture you post should be taken during the week in which the theme is
active to be eligible for judging.
7. Any picture taken within the period of P52-4 is acceptable for the two “Seasonal” competitions – Projects 52-3-51 & 52!1

This is a tough one to capture -- we are either having no clouds or full-on fog, and not in a pretty way, from our backyard. Maybe others will have better luck.

Hopefully I can get something interesting this weekend. Unfortunately, these were from the 28th of July as we started our vacation, so shouldn't be judged. It was rather eerie though as this storm dropped in on us after unloading the cars. Second shot is straight out of camera.

This appeared right outside my bedroom window, grabbed the cam put a CP up front and fired away. The time frame of this contest and the cloud presentation by mother nature - just perfect.

Only a few corrections in PS.
I thought they looked dramatic. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Like Sealonsf, we've had either no clouds or uniformly gray days. Except for one brief time when what the weather gurus call a dry slot moved through briefly, with cumulus clouds. So I thought I'd enter an unusual perspective, since at the time I couldn't rush outside to find a good view that was unobstructed by utility wires:

It's not been a great week for clouds until today. I wanted to go wide for best effect and decided on fisheye.

I'm going with this one because I took it following the K-30 "Hands On" in Atlanta last week. Nice clouds over the hotel where the Pentax event took place.
