It is my pleasure to announce the winner and the runner-up of the Citiscape contest. The photo that I find to stand out is the one taken by noelcmn! His unusual point-of-view of Johannesburg shows a sight only a few of the train passagers will experience. The lines of trains lead the eye from the old station buildings to the new and modern buildings far on the horizon where all the live hustles and bustles.



The second position goes to jmschrei and his B&W image of Calgary showing how the modern building dominate the skyline, almost touch the clouds and show the ever-lasting want of the humans to reach further up.



Last but not least I would like to thank all the contestants for taking their time and post the photos. Good jobs everyone!

Uhm... Did not expect this, as I consider that image from Jmshrei to be superior to mine. Loved it from the start Joe, and I am duly impressed with all you B/W images. Encouragement to pursue that avenue more often. Nevertheless, I'll take the accolades. Thank You!
