Welcome to the Picture of the Week #236. Big thanks to glennbp for hosting the previous couple of POTW's and doing a fine job!

This week covers 14 October to 28 October, 2012. That lets you show off any shots you took last week but haven't processed until now. In other words, you can post your shots from this week AND last week.

POTW is a great place to show what you've been shooting day-to-day. We can share ideas, learn from one another, and have a good time.

Again same rules as always:

1) No theme, just post your favorite pix.

2) Lets keep it to fewer than 6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week.

3) Any Pentax camera or Samsung SLR is fine, whether it's film, P&S, or DSLR.

4) Enter anything you shot last week or during this current week until the thread closes.

5) The current host will appoint the new host as an invitation via Private Message (PM). If possible, the new thread will be linked to the previous one and the new thread will start between Noon EDT and 5PM EDT on Sunday. If the thread doesn't start, please contact bluestringer, Moderator via PM.

Great to see the 35-70 working Pentaximus. Just got one and haven't tried it yet. A few from the front yard this morning. In the sepia shot at the very top center are the buildings of Winston-Salem, NC almost 50 miles away.

The weather finally cooperated Saturday morning and I was able to get my kayak on the water for a last chance fall foliage shoot. What a day! I'm just beginning to go through them in Lightroom. I used my K10D for these and I decided to show my DA 40 Ltd some love too. I really haven't shot any landscapes with it but after these, I will do some more.

A little phototrip to Evenesmark

The Polly Ann Trail is one of the nation's 'Rails-to-Trails' projects that creates bicycle, hiking, and horseback trails that used to be railroad routes that are now long gone. No motorized vehicles are allowed and the trails are beautifully maintained. These are just a few of the photos I got yesterday.
