Thank you all for posting in this challenge, a tough one to judge. First, some honourable mentions - Tamia, very nice, good subject isolation, good subject! You captured the glass beautifully....KH123..excellent capture and very well exposed, you captured the moment there. atupdate made me laugh,, Jools made me a tiny bit uneasy with a very interesting composition. Noelcm caught the enclosed flame really well, but for me the winner is...... MikeS

Mike, beautiful detail in the flame as well as the wood, and a good diagonal composition with the picture splitting into light and dark.
