Weekly Challenge 233 The Dark Side · **1 Like**

Thanks to Tess (Tessfully) for the colour popping weekly challenge. All the images were of a very high standard indeed so I'm very surprised to have my image selected.

My challenge is 'The Dark Side'. I like photos that are predominantly dark in tone, either literally or metaphorically, or both. Interpret it as you wish, here is a recent, literal one from me

The challenge will end Saturday February 16, 2013 and I will announce the winner Sunday morning (evening for Europeans and sometime on the way back to work for those in the East and Antipodeans).

Sorrow can be a dark place. This plaque is a memorial to my cat who died two years ago this month. Unfortunately I did not recognize the seriousness of her condition and her last hours were distressing for her and me.
