Weekly Challenge #6
Posted By: Photo Tramp, 01-10-2007, 05:30 PM

The 6th weekly based challenge here, with anyone who is interested.

The rules are as follows:

1. Post ONE photo (max 800x800) as a response to THIS post.

2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme. It can be colour or B&W, your choice.

3. You can offer as much or as little additional information as you wish, but I'd be interested to know the location/event/whatever being depicted.

4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.

5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and chose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.

6. The challenge runs for 7 days plus a day or so for the judge to choose the winners.

7. Any camera will do but it must be a Pentax.

This weeks theme will be "Macro"
The challenge starts now and ends on the January 20th 6.00pm . The reason for the extra days is starting in the middle of the week.

That is one delicious picture!! Pass the shortbread.

Adam, excellent cactus bloom shot.

How about everyone putting on their lense information with their shot?

Hah, one for which I have a decent shot already hanging around. Freshly emerged 12-spotted skimmer (relatively uncommon in our area) in our pond.

Tokina AT-X 90mm macro with macro extender.

Guess I'll have to haul out the ol' Sigma 70-300mm Macro Super II.

Hrrm.. actually, that means also finding a new tripod.. I seem to have lost mine.

Clarence-

As a former hog farmer, I can tell you that people have no idea just what genetalia are sported by boars.

Whenever I had visitors while I was "introducing" a sow to her new mate, I could always count on their jaws hitting the floor.

Sorry for getting off topic- Clarence started it.

With my current lens

I'm carrying only 2 lenses this week, the M200/4 and the A35-105/3.5. The A lens has a macro (1:2?) which the following was shot from about 15 inches away.

DS + A3-105/3.5, ?mm, f8, 1/180, iso200, as shot

100% crop, minor PP
