Well, for this challenge theme I was thinking BRIDGE THE GAP.
There are some simply stunning bridges and passes around the world and i'd love to see what you've shot.
Here in the UK there aren't so many around. I shot this local Viaduct a few days ago. It inspired me to choose this subject.

Any and all interpretations are welcome. Hopefully, it is broad or vague enough to elicit your interest and entries.

The Challenge will close on Sunday June 2nd, 12 Midnight EDT.


The fine print....
1. Post ONE photo (max 1024x1024).
2. The photo must portray an interpretation of the theme.
3. Post your single picture in this thread. If it's not obvious, explain what motivated you to take the picture and/or how you feel it represents the weekly theme.
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose one of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge closes after 7 days, then allows for a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax (or Samsung DSLR) camera will do.
8. Pictures can be from any time frame, not just within the week of the current theme.
9. In case the winner of a challenge is unable to become the judge for the next challenge, the winner will PM the #2 winner and pass the baton to that person to be the judge.

Part of the bridge that was bridging the gap washed out during the spring melt this year.

With all these awesome submissions, I don't have a snowball's chance in <a place which cannot be mentioned on this forum>, but I'll play anyway.

Here's the Coos Bay Bridge, PWA Project #982, finished in 1936. It was engineered to slightly higher standards than Tess's and Arjay's submissions.

The swing bridge at Little Current opens to let a sail boat through the North Channel above Manitoulin Island.
