#250 - Gold
Posted By: StephenHampshire, 07-10-2013, 03:32 PM

As the UK is currently experiencing a strange phenomenon known as "Sunshine" I thought I would choose "Gold" as this week's theme.

As normal please be creative with your interpretation of the theme, I know iti is a year late for the Olympics, but there are other "Gold Medal" moments out there, as well as plenty of bling and perhaps that aforementioned sunshine!

Some ideas from me.....

I'll play some really great images already. A recent post of mine fits the bill methinks.

I had a few subsequent shots with more uniform lighting as they all came on, but all of them were out of focus :-(

Wow! What a glorious collection of photos! Stephen, you surely have your work cut out for you. About my entry: Every year Longwood Gardens just outside Philadelphia puts, out a spectacular Christmas display. Part of the show is a fountain show choreographed with carols. It's a big hit and a wonderful photo op!.

NaCl(sure don't envy Stephen the judging on this one)H2O

I liked the way the sun lit up the petals from behind, and having a little guardian in the shot was a bonus.
